Why we ask for information about the final recipient – and how it benefits you
Our order form asks you for information about the person who will end up using your translated documents. It is not compulsory to enter this information. We ask for it because we offer an optional service: we can send the finished translations straight to their final recipient. There are several advantages of this:
1) It saves time: the completed, certified translation will be emailed straight to your recipient – the end user – on your behalf. The final recipient might be a registry office, education authority, regional council, court, university admissions office or another official body you’re dealing with.
2) It is convenient: we email the final recipient a file protected with a qualified electronic signature. There is no need to print the file and send it by post. However, if you would like us to send your final recipient a hard copy of the translated document by post, we can do.
3) It saves resources: there’s no need to use paper, so it’s better for the environment.
4) It saves postage costs.
5) It minimises the risk of documents being delayed or lost in the post.
We would be happy to send a digital (and/or paper) copy of our translation to your final recipient. Please do not order this service without first asking the final recipient’s permission: ask if they agree to you using and passing on their details so they can receive the translation, and tell them to expect it.
